Emmy Melchior Pradat, a Realtor and Office Manager with Carrie Fitts Real Estate, was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and attended Hillcrest High School. After high school, she took her education to Starkville, Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management from Mississippi State University. After graduation, she came to Carrie Fitts Real Estate to work in the real estate industry as their Office Manager. Through this position, she fell in love with the home buying and selling process and decided to get her license. With this passion, she loves helping clients make their housing dreams come true. Jim (Waltman) and Emmy (Pradat) were the perfect real agents for the sale of our home. We decided to sell our house of 26 years and move across the country. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a real estate firm. My fiancé and I worked with Emmy Pradat to find a plot of land to build our dream home - while we got started at the property I originally wanted to tour, it was like Emmy knew intuitively what we needed and took us to a property the same day that she thought we would love. Sure enough, we got to the property and knew instantly we were in the right place. The land buying process can be complex, but Emmy was our advocate throughout the process (and even got my parents interested in buying the land next to ours!). Working with Emmy was like having your best friend help you buy a house. She is professional, kind, and always willing to go to bat for her clients. We hope we get to work with her again!! There are no words for Emmy Melchior Pradat. She is one of a kind. If you get a chance to meet and work with her. Then you would understand what I'm saying. She is the best out there in the Real estate business. During our process of looking for a house she found everything we wanted. What makes Emmy so special to me is, my mama died during this process. Emmy truly was there for me and my family. For that I will forever be grateful. We have a special bond now. Thanks, Emmy for being the persoñ you are.

Emmy Pradat was excellent. She was very patient during our search process and very knowledgeable about what to expect. It took us 8 months from start to finish and Emmy’s attitude, motivation, and determination in assisting us in finding our new home remained the same. She is definitely now a part of our family. Wouldn’t have been able to get through everything without her. Emmy helped us sell our home and buy a new one.
