About Denise Evans
Denise Evans is a commercial real estate agent with extensive experience in acquisitions, sales, site selection, financial analysis, and preparation of loan request packages. She started her professional career as a litigation attorney in Houston, specializing in representing large real estate developers and lenders. She then moved to Birmingham with her husband and entered the equally exciting fields of commercial real estate development and brokerage. She is a candidate for the CCIM designation. She has also been invited to submit her credentials for the prestigious Counselor of Real Estate designation. Denise is the author of nationally published real estate books and is a contributing editor for the Dearborn/Kaplan books Essentials of Real Estate Investment, Essentials of Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Law, and Mastering Real Estate Math. For several years she taught Principles of Real Estate at the University of Alabama. She enjoys a reputation among buyers and sellers for exhaustive market research and knowledge, dogged determination in reaching client goals, and creative problem-solving when needed. If you are selling, Denise will go out and find buyers. If you are buying, Denise will find off-market opportunities for you, in addition to currently listed properties. Litigation was not a passive activity, and neither is brokerage. You want Denise as your advocate! Denise is married to her first and only husband, the love of her life! She has three stepchildren, six grandchildren, two dogs, two cats, a horse, a pony, and helps care for her husband’s approximately three million honey bees. She is a current member of the Opera Guild of UA, a former director of the Jemison Mansion, a former president of her Rotary Club, the former Vice Chairperson of the Chilton County Republican Party Executive Committee, and the former newsletter editor for the Alabama Beekeepers Association. Since her return to Tuscaloosa, she is again looking for ways to make meaningful contributions to her community and would welcome solicitations from organizations.
